Plugins

 

Consider a webpage is a machine, and plugins arer just parts of the machine. the only difference is you can not move parts on machine around on your will. Bamboo CMS does allow you to move plugins around freely.

 

a plugin added onto a template belongs to the template. it is only editable when you are on the template's edit mode.

a plugin added onto a page belongs to the page. it is only editable when you are on the page's edit mode.

when a plugin is editable, there will be a yellow bar sitting on top of it, having 5 icons:

 

 : delete the plugin

 : general setup of this plugin: width, height, and general stylesheet

 : detailed configuration of this plugin.

  : move plugin up and down in the area the plugin originally located

this is a plugin build up by {Menus.Horizontal Menu}. below is the setting inside the green pen( detailed configuration):

 

 

it reads menus out of 'Plugins':
