1. What is a template

A template is a common basis of several pages which have same things on their pages. An experienced internet user

often sees that: certain pages of a site have same top header, horizontal menu, vertical menu on left or right pane.

A bamboo template can have the header, menus on it. So pages will share the same header and menus can build from the template.

A template can be a common basis of a whole site. You can also make as many templates as you want for a site.

2. Default Templates

There are 4 default templates already built up for you: 1 column ( demo ), 2 column - menu on left, 2 column - menu on right

and 3 column.

These 4 default templates will suit for most common web designs. You can direct create new page with template one of these 4.
